Katherine grew up and attended college in Virginia before moving to Los Angeles. She holds a BS in Civil Engineering, a BS in Business Marketing, and a minor in Studio Art and Design from Old Dominion University. She worked as a Civil Engineer specializing in transportation at URS Corporation(now AECOM) and then in vendor management at Amazon Corporate before deciding to give back to her community and fulfill her passions through education. She currently teaches Civil Engineering/Architecture & Design and Computer Operations classes at a high school in Los Angeles, CA. Katherine enjoys bringing creativity and real world application into the classroom.
